Symptoms of A Failing Heart

Brothers, Sisters!

seNGET crossed his heart at 11:48 PM
It all started out with a group of us knowing each other
while playing basketball and soccer during the end-of-
year holiday of 1998. At that time, we were awaiting our
PSLE results and somehow, Fate brings us together when
all of us got enrolled into Junyuan Secondary School.

From there, we met and joined up with a few others
special individuals and started constantly playing soccer
either under the void decks, other silly places you can think of and the school's basketball court everyday
after school. Eversince then, we began to improve in both
our own unique skills and teamwork.

Finally, during the winters of 2001, we decided to play real
football on the field and started having frequent friendly
matches and random trainings every sunday. After our first
thrashing win of our very first friendly match which we sworn to buy a team jersey if we won. So we managed to save up enough money for it.

The team name, Rowdees came about when we were
purchasing our very first Gold jersey. At first, we didn't have a
name ready. So when the seller asked for our team name
which would be printed on the jersey, for god knows why,
we suddenly had the idea of naming it after the cute yet
horny/naughty dog called, Rowdee, owned by Xin Chee and his
younger brother, Xin Yi.

From then on, we, as a team has been a through alot all
these years, both emotionally and physically. Every Ups and Downs, you name it, we have it. With the
departure of a few great players and arrival of new talented ones as
well. Not forgetting when each of us graduated from secondary
school and got enrolled into different junior college, polytechnic and ite, we
still managed to stick together closely. The Strong Bond we have
kept us all united and connected at all time.

And as a team, we've

won countless victories despite some terrible losses as
well. We share the glory and pride when we win as a team and
split the sorrow when we lose as a team. Nevertheless, we
continued fighting on, vexing our rage on the next
opponents and crushing them! Everyone makes the team complete
because with Unity, comes Strength.

Therefore, Team spirit, Team work and Lasting Friendship
is what made us all unique and special, and what made
us, Rowdees today.

this was what i wrote for our rowdees msn group website a couple years back. somehow, its still fresh in my head like i just thought of it. honestly, i love this description alot. i just feel HIGH thinking about it and reading it out. rofl. and believe me, it takes me only a few minute to think of it because the words just simply comes to me. though i had made a few changes time and time again.

come to think of it, i just realised we have really do have alot of siblings in rowdees.

albert and his elder brother, lawrence. (he was with us at during first few years)
keong and his younger sister, suetjing. (his older brother also joined us at the beginning at first)
james and jason the twins.
me and my elder brother, xinchee.
khia seng and his elder brother, desmond.
wenyan and his younger brother, boon. (whose the only kid hanging out with us most of the time)

and its not just us but almost everyone rowdians knows and talks to each other siblings, including those who are not hanging out and close to us some more.

in simple words, we are ONE BIG FAMILY.
i am so fucking proud to have them by my side.
we will never walk alone.
the righteousness, the royalty, the love.
so this post is only dedicated to all you rowdians out there.
a tribute.
