Life, The Way I See it

seNGET crossed his heart at 2:15 PM
here is the long awaited taiwan post which was done ages ago.
still, i don't care much to edit it (may missed out some details).
i've still yet to received the photos!!
i'm getting inpatient, so what the hell, i'm just gonna post it anyway.
i'm too lazy to upload the tons of photos.
but you can view them through my facebook.
i will update them when i have more.
so here you go.
its fucking long, read on only if you have the time.
bear with me, i know i'm draggy but i'm such a detailed person.
and i know all words and no pictures are crap.
sorry.

a total of 20 days spent at taiwan!!!
OMFG. for the first week over here, it was pure SLACKING!!
so slack that it makes me wonder why we're even here so early in the first place.
it was so damn boring that i spent alot of time listening to music and smsing (my bill will be a BOMB!!!)
then spent half the time charging my mp3 player and my handphone. HAHA.
besides that, we had to practically find and make our own entertainment.
therefore we resort to:
1. watching mobile pornographic (imagine porn spreading on everyone's handphone like a plague)
2. humping/grinding each other (sexually-deprived males who couldn't resist the ultimate temptation)
3. playing blackjack/daidee/inbetween (some won/drank big, but most lost, not just money but water)

okay that sums up most of the lame stuffs we did.
in conclusion, our schedule was WAKE UP, EAT, SHIT, SLEEP, EAT, SLEEP AND REPEAT. ROFL.
little by little, day by day, we slowly start to unload our stores and equipments.
and get ourselves mentally-prepared for the gruelling 9 days of outfield!

anyway, just before we left for outfield, we were entitled to a nights off.
it was to a nearby town, dou liu, to enjoy ourselves for a few hours.
and a great time for some sight/babes seeing and shopping. hoho.
mainly just bought snacks/beverages and other neccessities what we need during outfield.
despite trying to act low profile, the people just easily recognize us as singaporean nsf.
not forgetting that we were walking in such a huge group that attracts so much attention.
it feels like being in a zoo, just that we're the animals.
HAHA.

unfortunately, i was unluckily enough to be the advance party!!
which means some of us are leaving a day earlier than the main body. like wtf!
the trip our destination took us 3 hours! that awful pain on my butt.
as our role there was to be the enemy, we have to be deployed earlier so that their scouts are able to detect us.
and also to recce the area beforehand. sucks to be us.
such time wasting, such agony.
in simple words, all we did was WAIT and WAIT and WAIT and WAIT..... NON-STOP WAIT.
becoming such a even patient person than ever!

before i start, you have know that the combat ration they issued us are useless!
why so?
because the ninja vans and bikes are RUNNING EVERYWHERE at the training area!
in case you don't know, it means food vedors cooking delicious finger food on the spot!
food like chicken cutlet, taiwan sausages, pork meat, onion prata, bubble tea, bottle drinks and alot more!
of course they weren't cheap but its still better than eating fucking combat ration!
but they taste really good, therefore it's hard not to get FAT over there. heh.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

mission 1, FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Area)
it was so much like playing counterstrike/battlefield in real life!
all the chaos made from the thick grenade smoke, gunshots, shouting and running.
my andrenaline was literally pumping non-stop once the enemy starts attacking.
for your information, we waited hours before they FINALLY make their first move.
(i was actually sleeping when they came. =x LMAO.)
we also had a few dressing as civilians to iritate the enemy.
a mission i'll never forget.

mission 2, REST!!
as my company wasn't involved in it.
so we had the 'luxury' to stay at a different camp nearby.
we get to spend the night on a bed and to bathe!!
mostly importantly, charge my handphone! haha!
and you can never imagine the MANLY SMELL of us as it was 4 days since we last bathed!!
hohohoho.
we left early the next morning.

mission 3, jungle warfare
took us around 1.5 hours to reach our destination.
as usual, all we did was rest and spent the night there waiting for the mission to commence.
the commanders were busying doing their recce and deployment location.
to kill time, we explored the area to find ourselves making friends with the villagers.
a day later, we finally got separated and deployed to our individual objective just to sleep there AGAIN.

the enemy finally came the next afternoon, later than expected.
after our other platoon actually set the forest on fire!
and directly invading right through our TOILET AREA!
hahahaha!
so they caught in a 'mine field' which they didn't know about!! rofl.
how i pity them, not just the distance they walked but the shagness they felt.
in a flash, the fight was over.
we lost of course, like we supposed to, like how enemy should died.
i had so much fun firing my rifle on auto mode that i eventually made myself cried.
due to the gunpowder residue all over my face!
on the bright side, end of exercise!!
NO MORE OUTFIELD. not unless reservice. hoho.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

back at camp.
we had to rush everything in a day.
from clean our weapons, packing/sealing our stores, area cleaning and packing our own bags.
so that the next day, we were able to go for our day off.
yet another privilege we had.

our destination, a tourist spot called, sun moon lake.
it was spectular with a lovely scenery especially at the peak.
in short, it was simply beautiful.
besides the lake, we get to vist a temple.
other than that, we ate some delicious exotic food and shop on a small street right below.
food like wildboar sausage, smelly tofu and other food you will never find in singapore.
everything is just worth trying.

by noon, we were back to the town, dou liu, where we had our previous nights off.
this time round, free and easy from 1pm to 8pm.
more hours for us to shop and relax!
7 of my friends got their tongue pierced!
wahahaha.
it was more than half the price i paid in singapore.
of course there was a disadvantage which is the artist weren't exactly that skillful.
most of my friends piercing were all senget! or crooked!
they are had trouble speaking from then on and it was PAYBACK TIME!!
my turn to laugh at their lousy pronouciation! ROFL.
we should have took a photo of the 11 of us with tongue piercing, would have been wicked! haha.

in a flash, we called it a night.
our last preparation.
packed our kit bags and sent it.
area cleaning and all the last minute touch up.

the next day, our long awaited, the only reason we came here, R&R!!!!
handing over my bunks before we finally left for gaohsiung!!
hohoho.
reached the hotel at 12pm and it was free and easy ALL THE WAY TILL 12am.
browse and shop and walk nonstop.
from department stores to shopping streets, we never missed one.
and hot taiwanese babes are literally everywhere! heh.
my friends were busy trying to take pictures with them.
more gifts to add to our bags.

by 12am, we were back to the hotel to report.
of course, we weren't keen on staying put.
what's the point of coming taiwan without enjoying their night life.
so we sneaked out at 1am to a club nearby.
the club wasn't really packed, mostly loners.
to our surprise, the club was filled with alot of people from 46SAR.
hahaha. even our CO was there for awhile.
a girl we got to know earlier at the nightmarket joined us.
her friend who wasn't there even opened a bottle for her and some fingerfood. how nice.

the club closed at 4am but we weren't ready to called it a night.
so we proceed to a nearby ktv to sing our lungs out.
instead of singing, i was happily sleeping on the couch.
stopped at 7am and it was back to the hotel to rest.

i didn't had much rest and was out again by 11am.
lunched and back to more shopping at the department store nearby.
in no time, 5pm and it was check out time at the hotel.
slacked awhile before the bus came to pick us up.
by 8pm, we were at the airport, ready to take our flight back to singapore!
2am, HOME SWEET HOME.
thanks to my brother who came and drove me home.

and thats about it for my taiwan trip.
