On Frail Wings Of Vanity And Wax
my one week of block leave is finally coming to an end. nevertheless, i've really made full use of it though. which means, i've hardly stay home throughout these days. but on the down side, i've been spending so much money which means i'm almost broke now! damn it. anyway, i'll just summarise on what i've been up to.
friday night after my pop
i went to meet up with my platoon mates cutecute, ee seng, da hua, zhixiang, weili and sgt. robin with tong ling and 2 other girl friends at raffles city mrt as we'll be going boat quay for some drinking session. we had dinner first before proceeding to this pub and then taking a cab over to mohd sultan to the club, 'rush'. the environment there wasn't good for me as it's a techno club. HOW THE HELL YOU EXPECT ME TO DANCE WITH THAT MUSIC? hahaha. so i just sat down there and look at people. by the time the club close, we went outside for our supper before i took a cab back home alone.

saturday
out to home team academy's official opening with keong, felki, khiaseng, ah ni and charis in the evening. the performances was not bad as there's performers such as fiona xie, electrico, singapore idols, superstar winners and many more. we stay from 7pm to 10pm before we finally went home by train.

sunday
finally had our long awaited rowdees soccer match. and now that we have alot of fit army men and soon-to-be policemen and our attendance that day was 100%, we won the match with the scoreline of 4 - 1. hohoho! not bad as usual. to so-call celebrate, we went to 85 market for our breakfast. after that, it was back home to rest.
it was only in the evening before my brother and i went to meet keong, weitong, hock, zhenfai, terter, wenyan, felki and ah ni for dinner at bugis. we were supposed to dine at this new western restaurant which i found at sunshine plaza, but to our surprise, it was closed. so we got no choice but to dine at this famous wanton noodle stall instead.
next up, we walked over to arab street where we had our first seesha session as most of us were new. it was a total fun and laughter night but too bad zhenfai left earlier. we tried 3 flavors which were grape, strawberry and apple. the food there, wedges, kebab and chicken was fantastic! but fucking expensive. it's worth all your money though. plus, first time smoking wasn't quite an experience, we coughed and we felt giddy. haha. it was lame. then, we walk back to the mrt to take the last train home.

monday
outing to orchard with wenyan and hock. we met up at tampines for lunch first. well, we all did our fair share of shopping and i end up buying a atticus polo tee and a heartcore tee shirt which cost $114 in total at image 2001. damn. then we proceed to bugis to shop alil' while more. night time, we went to changi village's subway together with weitong, kuku, boon, ah ni and sharon as ben is working his last day there. we spent quite awhile there because we waited for ben to close the shop. took a cab home to rest at 11.15pm as i was dead tired.

tuesday
i was out to katong for gaming together with boon, tong, ter and wenyan. we spent around 3 hours there playing battlefield 2 and swat before going back tampines to meet keong, ah ni, felki, hock, qingan and sharon for kfc dinner. congraduation to qingan that day as he just POP. after that, we went to rent some vcd before going home first to change. then it was back to wenyan house for vcd watching with only me, tong and dick who came later for mahjong.

wednesday
i only came out in the evening where i cabbed down with tong to east coast for our platoon's bbq. sadly, not many attend the bbq as i expected but it all turn out okay. we stay only for awhile before danny (our platoonmate) drives us to panpacific. over there, tong and i cabbed again to zouk where we'll be meeting qingan, hock, james, ter, kuku, alex, amy, wenyan and peggie to celebrate alex's POP.
the night was okay as i didn't actually enjoyed myself that much. there was so many people and i have to keep squeezing through the crowd. by 3am, some of them decide to go boat quay for more drinking so i didn't. instead, i took a cab back with peggie and kuku to tampines west cc's mac for supper. in no time, it was KO back home.
