Symptoms of A Failing Heart

ndp combined rehearsal yesterday was tiring. walking around from suntec to show village and etc, plus with the weight of the rations (which myself and 2 others are incharged of), it was TOUGH! thank god the ordeal now is over. sadly, i wasn't able to join my platoon for drinking at boat quay to celebrate the 19th birthday of my tank driver, Mr Chiam WeiLi, whose birthday falls today, 24th of june. main reason is because i was tired, broke and the other rowdians were waiting for me to go home.


so a big happy birthday to him now.
and the same to adeline, whose birthday falls today as well.
now now, i'm still waiting for the icecream she owes me.

as for today, it was swimming in the morning with gay lord, keong and our greatest-of-all-time gay god, zhenfai. as usual, we swam a few laps and not forgetting, the free show at the suntan bay (you know what i'm talking about). we ended the swimming session in an hour and a half before going back home to change and out again. this time, it was to town as most of us need to get our stuffs. with the addition of meifang, albert and ahni, we made our way to orchard (though keong went to find felki first before joining us again).


i tried resisting the temptation to buy more band t-shirt but i simply couldn't. the eager to buy cheap $15.90 but fake band t-shirt was way overwhelming. so in the end, i bought 'bless the fall' and 'enter shikari'. anyway, i could have got away with it free as they gave me a 'no dial tone' receipt when i paid by nets at first. can't believe i actually happily refer back to them straightaway. so i end up REALLY paying. how sad. i guess thats why i got an 'A' for my CME lessons back in seconday school. HAHAHAHA. but the rest called me dumb. =(


well, also, i at last bought my plain white leather belt, plus a heartagram buckle (which wasn't supposed to be on my shopping list) that cost the same as the belt. which sums up $36. damn, i'm slowly becoming a big spender. now i seriously wonder if the additonal $300 pay next month can even save my ass.


after shopping, it was a long walk to meridian hotel to find weitong, mond, wenyan and tiannee who are located at. weitong was there for his top secret mission but only managed to complete his secondary objective. how sad to fail his primary objective. luckily he was still able to level up at the end of the day, thanks to his last minute bonus mission.


anyway, we shopped more at bugis while the 4 we met earlier left. felki joined us soon after her work. after about an hour later, we came to a halt. it was finally time to take a bus back home. and there you go, i'm home now, likewise with the rest.

well, i just got back from felki's house as she helped me cut my hair. hopefully it doesn't look thick anymore or i would be in DEEP SHIT, which means signing extras!


incoming wednesday night would be zouk with rowdians, but my campmates would be there as well. so i'm sure its gonna be damn chaotic. i don't even know if i'm looking forward for it anot.


thursday is booking in!! which is fuck up. hopefully it doesn't drag till friday. GOD I PRAY.

just came back in the morning with keong and zhenfai. we had our breakfast at macdonald's at 10am before proceeding to the swimming complex. it's been awhile since we last been there and i been LIKE FOREVER since i last swam a few laps. hahaha. my stamina still suck. oh, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, zhenfai didn't took off his shorts which reveals his SEXY WHITE SWIMMING TRUNK!! wahahahaha. oh my god.


after swimming, headed to tm for lunch at pasta mania together with my bro. soon, it was back home. at 4.30pm, keong and felki came over to my place and they're still here playing 'guitar hero2' on my ps2. it sure is fun.


in no time, we'll be out for dinner with the rest of rowdees.

anyway, this weekend was rather fruitful. help out (more like no choice but to help) at NDP last saturday as my battlion, 46 SAR was NDP's show support. not that kind of "we love you mr. president" kind of support, but the kind where we had to make sure and escort the performers to their designated area at the right place and time. though my role there is just looking after the expensive equipments of the performers (we look after the Go Fly Kite people). how boring it could be, especially with the fucking hot weather.

as for sunday, was out in the morning again for breakfast with my family at siglap. came back to tampines for shopping. main thing is my dad got a new nokia 6330 phone whereas my bro got nokia n95! how fortunate. if only i could use it. fuck (envy). homed and was supposed to join some of the rowdians for town but sadly i got lazy, AS USUAL, because i was busy configuring the new wireless keyboard, mouse and webcam. webcam is SO FREAKING AWESOME. how about some webcam striptease action?!?!


night time was dinner at east coast's 'no signboard seafood resturant' to celebrate my auntie's belated birthday and father's day as well with my relative. such a great expensive meal. my parents went home first while my bro and i joined the rest of my relative for desert and 'the cheesecake cafe'. food was not bad, but a lil' common for the cheesecake. cause i really didn't taste anything unique out of it. homed soon.

last but no least, i MUST praise my WoW guild, Crimson Guards for doing an awesome job. we have finally cleared mag lair in our first attempt. sadly, i wasn't there as boon took over me that day. CG have been doing so well now that i really do feel like a family with them. i hope we keep it up. time for tempest keep and sepertshrine caverns soon! lets own the shit out of it.

my hokkien indeed sucks!
today is my great-grandma's birthday party.
i was really late due to my 4NTM duty beforehand.
and sadly, no more yummy vegetarian food were left for me.


the main thing is, when i step into her place.
first thing is of course to greet and wish my great-grandma happy birthday.
BUT before i could open my mouth, i was like 'SHIT, how the hell do i say happy birthday in hokkien?'.
SO.... i end up saying happy birthday in english.
hmmm... i wonder why i didn't say it in mandarin instead.
i doubt she even understand what i said.
haha.

to think i used to speak better hokkien back in my primary school days.
thanks to me going to my great-grandma's house everyday before school so that she could look after my bro and i while my parents were busy working.
i need to brush up my hokkien abit.
